Biography

Originally from the Netherlands, I am happy to call Athens my home since 2012. After I received my Archaeology degrees (B.A. & M.A.) from the University of Amsterdam, I moved to Athens to learn Greek. I fell in love with the city and never left. Athens is a city with a magical atmosphere; relaxed and busy, ancient and hyper modern, a metropole with a sea view, all in one place.

As a licensed tourist guide, it will be my pleasure to share my enthusiasm for Athens' fascinating past. In Dutch, English or German, I will guide you through the mythical and historical roads of the Greek capital. For me, guiding is a mix of storytelling, mythology, archaeology, history and entertainment. I believe that colorful stories help to understand the ancient ruins in a relaxed way.
