Official Guide Identity

About me

I am a late 1900s Greek native, born in the fog-filled, full-of-legends Ioannina city. A nomadic childhood brought me to many different places in Greece, including the charming first capital Nafplio. My undergraduate studies on the Ionian island of Corfu included an impactful six-month residency in Strasbourg, France, and led to a BA in Foreign Languages and Translation (English & French into Greek). I then chose to settle permanently in Athens, expanded my linguistic background by learning Spanish, and completed a Master’s degree (MA) in Cultural Management, focusing on museum studies and heritage interpretation.

I started my professional life as a translator and multilingual administration officer, then transitioned into cultural project coordination, and ultimately made the decision to combine all my previous studies, side quests and work experience into a creativity-driven vocation: I trained at the State School of Tourist Guides in Athens and was granted a professional guiding license by the Greek Ministry of Tourism. I am currently guiding in Greek and English.

I am deeply drawn to the human side of the ancient world, especially social history, sartorial evolution, and sensory archaeology. Equally fascinating to me is tracing word etymologies and navigating the psychoanalytic depths of the ancient myths. Beyond antiquity, I love bridging this historical legacy with Greece's living heritage, shared traditions, and present-day spirit. As a guide and a person, I value lifelong education, intellectual curiosity, and open-mindedness; I enjoy edutainment, myth- busting, some good laughs, and, above all, interaction that leads to co-shaped tours. I am delighted to share in the photo section what past travelers had to say about our time together. Feel free to reach out via email, WhatsApp, or Viber.

Note: I can suggest tours and itineraries based on your preferences and will gladly guide you through your chosen destinations. Please keep in mind that I do not arrange or manage travel logistics; all bookings, trips, and transfers must be handled by you or your travel agent.
