Discovering Athens; a walk for the Athenians with the help of guides

March the 3rd 2024, first Sunday of March! Athenians and people from other places of Greece and the world as well had the chance to visit different archaeological sites and museums (apart from the New Acropolis Museum) for free.

They were lucky as well that they had a nice spring weather!

The Association of Licensed Tourist Guides, Athens-Greece was also present in different places of Athens for welcome all of you and start an adventure through the monuments and their history so we can know our city better.

Starting points were the Ancient Agora, Kerameikos (the ancient cemetery of Athens), the National Garden, the National Archaeological Museum, the Museum of Modern Greek Culture, the Numismatic Museum and Syntagma sq. to see the neoclassical buildings of Queen Sofia's avenue.

Our reward was your participation, your thirst for knowledge and your good mood with your smiles, jokes and compliments!

That's what remains at the end and this memory makes us feel nice because we realize that we got closer !

We would like to thank our colleagues that guided these groups and they volunteered to promote our place as a profession in the society!

We also thank all of you that participated and once again supported us with your love!
