#eleusis2023

February was a busy month for the guides' life long learning with the annual seminar, but with "fieldtrips". 

On the 18th of February took place the excursion to Eleusis. It is a suburban city in the West Attica regional unit of Greece and is located in the Thriasio Plain, at the northernmost end of the Saronic Gulf.

Part of Life Long Education is the annual Educational Seminar, organized by The Association of Licensed Tourist Guides,Athens-Greece.

From the 14th until the 16th of February 2023 the 42nd Educational Seminar of Licensed tourist guides took place  in the familiar premises of the Athens War Museum.

The winter is the time for the guides to relax, reorganize them selves, but also to enrich their knowledge. For these reasons the Association of Licensed Tourist Guides Athens organizes visits and excursions according to their needs and interests.

The Association of Licenced Tourist Guides, Athens together with the Volunteer Center of Ukrainian Communities and Greek Supporter "OPORA" organised a number of volunteer guided tours for children- refugees from Ukraine. They visited archaeological sites museums as a sign of support to the Ukrainians that found shelter in Greece during the war.
